Sea Swim Familiarisation Sessions

Our popular sea swim familiarisation sessions will be running through August leading up to our event in September.

It’s a great opportunity to get some open water swim practice with experienced swimmers on hand, especially if you’re new to sea swimming as its quite different to the pool!

We’ll be meeting by the Moot Hall on Crag Path so bring a towel, goggles, hat and preferably wetsuit (but not essential).

Call Tony on 07719 919484 to confirm your attendance or if you have any questions or concerns about the swim.

The dates for the familiarisation sessions are as follows:

Sun 5th Aug 8:30am
Sun 12th Aug 8:30am
Sun 19th Aug 8:30am
Thurs 23rd Aug 6:30pm
Sun 26th Aug 8:30am
Thurs 30th Aug 6:30pm
Sun 2nd Sept 8:30am
Thurs 6th Sept 6:30pm
Sun 9th Sept 8:30am

Please arrive 15 mins early for a prompt start.

If a session needs to be cancelled due to weather conditions we’ll post an update here. Please note, these familiarisation swims are not fully lifeguarded.

Hope to see lots of you there!
